Aahana, Neha and Anuj run Willowdale the way their family has run hillside hospitality for three generations. Here, you are not a guest in a hotel - you are a guest in a home, welcomed the way the family has always welcomed the people who find their way up the hill.

A Lineage in the Hills
The family's story in Kumaon hospitality began at Hotel Maharaja in Nainital, carried on at Misty Mountains in Jhaltola, and continues today at Willowdale. Each place taught them the same thing - that a good stay is not about grandeur, but about being looked after by people who genuinely care that you rest well and leave happy.
That inheritance - the warmth, the attention, the instinct to host - is what you feel from the moment you arrive.

This is not a hotel. It is a private home, lived in and loved, opened to those who want to stay a while. The stonework took two years and a team of local artisans to finish - every arch and veranda drawn to frame the landscape rather than compete with it.

The Hosts
Aahana, Neha & Anuj
Between them, they run every part of Willowdale by hand - the welcomes, the kitchen, the long conversations on the veranda. Anuj has been known to make a guest's child a pancake himself. Guests are welcomed at 5am with open arms and the warmest smiles.
It is a small family, hosting a small number of guests, and that is exactly the point.
